Wiring a studio is a very complex matter containing many aspects. Grounding, soldering, crimping, choices of cable and connector solutions may seem very simple, but decent engineering  ahead of a project can prevent a lot of problems that may occur without a decent plan to work with. Basic problems like ground-loops, malfunction of connectors and patchbays or connections with incorrect cabling are common issues. Also technical problems with the power source may occur if no effort is put in a decent plan to power up the system. Things like hum and noise can be common issues. Eliminating these issues before starting a project saves time, money and stress. Also the finished studio needs maintenance like recapping equipment replacing pots, tuning and keeping everything up and running are things to give some serious thoughts. This can prevent equipment failure when you’re in the middle of that really serious production.
